SCOOL Check is Shinhan Banks self-assessment and competency evaluation tool, created as a strategic extension of SCOOL, the mobile learning platform that transformed corporate training across the organization.

The goal was simple but high-stakes: make mandatory skill evaluations feel motivating, approachable, and worth returning to.

By blending familiar Korean app interaction patterns, interactive coding practice, and clear progress visualizations, SCOOL Check gave employees a transparent, empowering view of their capabilities. What had once been a compliance exercise became a framework employees trusted and one that other organizations within Shinhan Financial Group quickly adopted.
